Made with acrylic paint, octopus ink, artificial feathers, and squigly or sparkly found objects and inspired by a trip to some wild chilly places in Alaska. The beauty, energy and spirit of the Alaskan frontier come through in the movement in the piece.

I used an unusual process to create this piece, pinning the found objects to the canvas and painting to a selection of music. You can almost feel the rhythm of the music as it repeats itself through the painting.

Made on canvas with acrylic paint, octopus ink, artificial feathers, and squigly or sparkly found objects and inspired by a trip to some wild chilly places near Homer, Alaska. The beauty, energy and spirit of the Alaskan frontier come through in the movement in the piece.

I used an unusual process to create this piece, pinning the found objects to the canvas and painting to a selection of music. You can almost feel the swirling rhythm of the music as it curls around and repeats itself throughout the painting.
